On November 20, I'll be participating in Theater for the New City's Scratch Night. Frank J. Avella's For Mamma has been selected for a semi-staged reading and I have the pleasure of reading the lead character. Check out the write-up on Broadwayworld.
I met Frank soon after I moved to New York City in 2010, and have read many of his plays since. His work always challenges audiences to take a look within themselves and the world around them, and this play in particular is one of my favorites. Hope to see you on the 20th!
